| Landfriese II is by Landadel. The 16.3hh bay stallion was something special. He was the champion of his 100 Day Test at Medingen in 1985 with a score of 136.26. His double talent was outstanding - with a score of 137.72 in jumping and 131.43 in dressage he was on second place in both disciplines. He even received a 9.0 on the course - all the best prerequisites for a career in sport. Due to an injury after the performance test Landadel never returned to the show ring. One of the riders/trainers at Medingen said,"Landadel could have become a successful dressage horse because of his strong movement and
rideability". Landadel is one of those rarest creatures -- a stallion who is siring top dressage and jumping progeny. In the 2001 World Cups, Landadel produced representative in both dressage and jumping finals. In the 1999/2000 WBFSH standings Landadel had 14 representatives on the jumping list and three on the dressage. Landadel is considered the most important son of Landgraf. |

| Ladykiller XX was born in England in 1961, he raced three times in two years and only an 80.5 kilo handicap - a minimum required for a thoroughbred stallion to be accepted into Germany breeding ranks. After his death in 1979, he sired 35 stallions' sons including the pillars of the Holstein; Landgraf and Lord. Today it is almost a necessity of fashion in Holstein that a horse carries Ladykiller XX blood at least two or three times whereby it occurs from time to time, that horses in the pedigree have Ladykiller inbred five or six times. |
